National Grid and Community Offshore Wind Help 450 Children

At their March conference, National Grid and Community Offshore Wind funded and assembled 450 SiE Books to support children in their communities.

SiE Books is a unique educational resource that provides hands-on, engaging science to children from Pre-K to 2nd grade. The books cover a wide range of science subjects, based on real-world activities.

Approximately 300 books were given to the Boys and Girls Club of Metro Baltimore. The remaining SiE Books will be distributed to support children in New York.

By donating SiE Books, National Grid and Community Offshore Wind are helping to provide children with unique and engaging educational resources to enhance scientific thinking, problem-solving, and creativity. This initiative is part of a broader effort by National Grid and Community Offshore Wind to promote education and community engagement in the areas where they operate.

If your company would like to help invest in this initiative, please contact Chelsey to find out how you can partner with SiE.
