Our new logo

Science is Elementary is celebrating a decade of transforming elementary school science education. Our new logo, a paper airplane becoming a rocket, evokes the transformation that Science is Elementary effects in the lives of children as well as in elementary science education more broadly.

Through Science is Elementary, children are transformed. Using simple tools and playthings like paper airplanes enables children to learn science fundamentals and dream big at the same time. Our students become scientists, engineers, scientific thinkers, and creative problem solvers.

Through Science is Elementary, schools and school districts are transformed. Instead of being places where science is taught poorly, if at all, schools become places where teachers champion science, integrate science with literacy, and enhance their students’ growth and academic achievement.
