Learning Lab (in-classroom)
What better way to show your students that Science is Everywhere?
Looking for exciting experiential science that your students can do from home? Our Learning Lab is grade-level specific, inquiry-based, experiential, and standards-aligned. Its combination of live video meetings and hands-on activities at home allows for robust discussions and engaging hands-on experimentation using common, readily available household materials.
The Learning Lab demonstrates to students that we can do science wherever we are and with whatever we have available to us.
Each unit has about 3 hours of activities meant to be spread out over 5 days. Units are arranged around themes.
Science is for Me! (formerly SiE Books)
Looking for a fun hands-on STEM activity that kids can do on their own and that’s screen free?
Join Jasmine and Jose as they discover the world, encounter challenges, and use science to solve problems. Learning to think and behave like scientists, young kids can do hands-on science and engineering activities on their own.
Thanks to donors like you, we’ve provided 3000 free books and science kits to kids from low-income families. For just $20, bring Jasmine and Jose to your home so your child can experience the joy of science, and give that joy to another child whose family cannot afford the books.
