Meri Klingelhofer

Program Associate

Meri loves science and wants to inspire young students to love it too.

She recently graduated from UC Santa Cruz, where she studied neuroscience and philosophy. During her time there, Meri developed a passion for human services and community outreach while working in UCSC's Basic Needs Department. Outside of academics, she volunteered for four years as a teaching assistant for middle school students.

Given all of these interests, Science is Elementary is a perfect fit for her. She joined the team in August 2023 to coordinate on-site volunteers and manage inventory for our Science is for Me! kit program. She enjoys meeting all of the wonderful volunteers and working with the students in the classroom. Meri is excited to keep learning and growing in her role as program associate.
