New SiE Book: The Science of Hockey

In partnership with CalHOPE, the Sharks Foundation sponsored our newest SIE book for kindergarten children, Jasmine and Jose Play Hockey.

In addition to developing this new science story, their funding covered the distribution of 2000 Jasmine and Jose Play Hockey kits to historically underrepresented elementary school children across San Jose and the surrounding communities.

Many recipients are children enrolled in the Boys and Girls Club of Silicon Valley programs.

This book officially kicks off our Science in Sports series. We're actively looking for other sponsors and partners to develop additional sports-related SIE books. Learn more about how to be part of our exciting new series.
